An Earls Court Plumber can fit WCs.Modern lavatories are many and varied in design. These will pretty much suit any home interior. The close-coupled WCs are made so that the cistern sits flush on the pan and have become a popular option. Make sure that before you begin, always unpack carefully and visually inspect the new WC or suite and parts before you remove the old appliance. It will be too late if your old WC is out and there is apart missing or some damage.1). Locate the large rubber gasket in the pans flush entrance. Push the long securing bolts through the holes in the cistern, using the rubber and large metal washers provided. Sit the cistern onto the pan, allowing the locating bolts to go through the holes. The threaded section of the flush mechanism should go through the rubber gasket on the flush entrance of the pan. Put washers onto the connecting bolts, and tighten the wing nuts, but do not over tighten them.2). Visually confirm that no pipes or cables are under the fixing points, then locate the WC and slide the pan outlet into the flexible connector connected to the soil pipe. Silicon grease should help to ease it on. Earls Court Plumbers use drills.3). Use the drill to make the pilot holes into the floor at the fixing points. If the floor is of solid construction, then, using the drill ( masonry bit) on hammer action, drill and plug. Press the plastic protective inserts through the holes in the base of the pan and screw into the floor. If the cistern needs to be fixed to the wall, drill with the masonry bit and plug as required. Dont forget to add rubber washers before tightening the nuts. Re-connect the supply pipe for the cold water feed using a push fit tap connector. Check for leaks.
